seeking applications for a full-time manager for its Calgary location.
You will play a leading role by supporting the Company’s mission statement and public image, while achieving the financial objectives that have been set and provide an excellent customer service.
You are a person who has a proven track record in managing and training your staff, you know how to motivate your work force so that each employee excels at serving our clientele.

As manager, your primary responsibilities will be to:
• Manage and balance store cash;
• Prepare work schedules and supervise staff under your authority;
• Ensure customer satisfaction;
• Oversee reception and transfers of merchandise;
• Manage store inventories;
• Ensure proper merchandising of products and reorganise store displays according to seasonal needs and promotional activities;
• Lead the Company’s promotional activities in the Calgary and Alberta market place.

We will rely on your ability to ensure that the store meet its profitability targets. You will also be responsible for store safety and hygiene.
In addition to your 3 years of experience as a store manager in men’s fashion and/or men’s erotica, you are familiar with the leather and fetish market, you possess a college degree or the equivalent. You have strong knowledge of inventory management procedures and techniques, and know how to ensure proper presentation of displays and merchandise. You are very comfortable dealing with the public, you are known for your passion for customer service and your understanding of
Calgary’s gay market, and of male and fetish fashion. You possess a keen business sense and are sensitive to the reality of a retail store catering to an gay/straight clientele. You also know how to adapt sales strategies to a changing retail environment.
