Oprah - End of an Era

Oprah Winfrey came from humble beginnings and, over the years, built an empire that placed her as a figure that many hold near and dear. Her story is one that is full of triumphs, and come September 2011, she closes a chapter in her life by airing her final episode and saying good bye to The Oprah Winfrey show. Though certain never to fade from the spotlight, it is her past 25 years on the air that have provided indelible moments in TV history and earned her the title of the Queen of Daytime. Oprah is a friend to all, including the LGBT community, and for all her efforts thus far, we salute her and wish her further success... now possibly in the political arena.
